Join us at bric-à-brac for an enriching online poetry reading meet up on Sunday, January 26. We invite you to come share your poems with us and create new connections with fellow writers and creatives. Are you ready to experience the power of the written word in a welcoming and inclusive space and become part of our growing community? :) What You Need to Know: 1. Each person will be allotted 5 minutes to read. 2. You will have a minute to introduce yourself in one sentence: Your name, where you're from, and what poetry means to you. :) 3. You will then have 3 minutes to read your piece. It can either be your own or a poem you recently read and would like to share with the group. 4. Last one minute will be for others to share their brief feedback on your reading. 5. If you are reading Japanese short-forms, you can read as many poems that will fit snugly within 3 minutes. If it is a short/medium-sized free verse poem, please read only ONE. 6. ANY theme. 7. After registering, our curator Shloka Shankar will contact you and ask you to include your chosen poem/s in a Word document to enable screen sharing and easy access for all our participants in the event that there are network issues or voices are garbled.
