poem in a bottle.

a random act of kindness project curated by Shloka Shankar and the bric-à-brac poets
We are the bric-à-brac poets, a growing community of artistes from India, and we bring to you our our Poem in a Bottle project, inspired by The Poetry Pharmacy in the UK. Each of these first set of 50 bottles contains a poem authored by one of 15 poets. What kind of poem, you ask? Inside, you will find one- or two-line short poems inspired by Japanese poetry. These poetic bottles will be freely distributed across various locations such as cafes, bookshops, and libraries in Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru. By infusing public spaces with these miniature poetic treasures, the project aims to make short-form poetry more accessible and delight unsuspecting readers.
